Laura has been an artist for most of her life. She is an award winning illustrator, an animator and sculptor. Her work appears in private collections internationally. Laura accepts a limited number of private commissions each year.

The last decade has found her focused on projects that involve children and the environment. Her clients have included The United Way and the National Wildlife Federation. She has formed a publishing company called "The Rescue Friends Press,” to bring true-life stories to children relating how each hand can make a difference.

Laura loves horses. They have held a special place in her heart since childhood. The fight for legislation to protect these amazing beings has become integral to her work. She participates with many equine welfare groups including: EWA (Equine Welfare Alliance), Animal Law Coalition and The Cloud Foundation. Laura just finished her participation in a BBC television special about horses with Martin Clunes. She is also participating in an effort to consolidate a unified advocate effort on behalf of wild horses and burros.
